Ceremonies, informational sessions, marches and a 110-hour vigil are planned this week at 'Iolani Palace as Native Hawaiians recall the overthrow of Queen Lili'uokalani and the dissolution of the sovereign Hawaiian nation.

Presented by Hawai'i Loa Ku Like Ka Kou (All Hawai'i Stands Together), the events are timed to coincide with the 110th anniversary of the mid-January 1893 events that led to Lili'uokalani's overthrow and the eventual annexation of Hawai'i by the United States.
